Can I apply for permanent residency if...?

Is it possible for me to apply for permanent residency if: I have lived in Japan on a spousal visa for 10 years. I am not working (have never worked in Japan), but my husband has a job supporting me and our children.
On the Japan-guide webpage, it says "having sufficient assets or ability to make an independent living," but I'm not sure if my situation applies since I am not the one earning the income.

The "ability to make an independent living" condition does not apply to spouses and children of Japanese nationals or of permanent residents.

Yes, you can. I applied mine together when I did spousal renewal. Received mine 4 months later. I was doing part-time work that time, and also have 1 child. Having child definitely up your PR chance. BTW I'm male.

Yes, you can. I applied mine together when I did 3rd year spousal renewal. Received mine 4 months later. I was doing part-time work that time, and also have 1 child. Having child definitely up your PR chance. BTW I'm male.

Depends if you paid all your taxes, even if you do not work you need to pay tax. Having a guarantor to support the application. Having sufficient assets or ability to make an independent living (stable job, enough savings in case you divorce
