A couple notes: You can't get to Kinosaki on the Kansai Area Pass. You'd need the Wide Pass. Nothing against Kamigori - but why there? It seems to me there are more interesting places, like Miyama or Amanohashidate. Matsue and Izumo are in Shimane, not Tottori. You'd be extremely hard pressed to fit in Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Iwakuni in one day. You also don't say when you are traveling, but even in the summer when there is more daylight, it is just too crammed in. Tsuwano is a rare choice for many tourists. The Taikodani Inari Shrine was very nice - not as extensive as the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, but with almost none of the crowds. https://youtu.be/EVe3XDTDMUUIncidentally, is there any reason you are skipping Kyoto and Nara? Since you are in the area, the Akiyoshido Limestone Cave is also well worth your attention. It's the best in Japan and definitely an unforgettable experience. There are passes for Fukuoka as well, like the Fukuoka Tourist City Pass. https://yokanavi.com/en/tourist-city-pass/You might not need it though - many of the best places are close to a subway station, and a subway day pass will likely be enough for you. You should also not miss the Nanzoin Temple about 20 minutes by train from Hakata Station - one of the highlights of the area. http://www.thejapanfaq.com/fukpic.htmlBe sure to try the tonkotsu ramen while there.

You have a lot of zigzagging across the map also.
Osaka, Kinosaki-onsen, Tottori, Matsue, Okayama, Hiroshima, Hakata is the route you should take.

Thanks Ken and Hakata14 for the advised.
I had adjusted my plan. Pls see if it need further adjust or improve.
1 - arrive Osaka (1 Nov 18) 2 - Osaka - Kinosakionsen (Kansai Wide Pass - 5 days) 3 - Kinosakionsen - Tottori 4 - Tottori - Matsue 5 - Matsue - day trip izumoshi 6 - Matsue - Okayama 7 - Okayama - day trip Naoshima 8 - Okayama - day trip Onomichi 9 - Okayama - Hiroshima (Okayama, Hiroshima & Yamaguchi Area Pass 5 days) 10 - Hiroshima - day trip Miyajima 11 - Hiroshima - day trip Akiyoshida Lime Stone 12 - Hiroshima area 13 - Hiroshima - Hakata 14 - Hakata - Nanzoin Temple 15 - Home
As for your q. why Kamigori. it is just that the Kansai area pass ends at Kamigori and is one of the transfer point for travel to Tottori.
I had been to Kyoto and Nara.
Thank you.

After your day at Miyajima, I would suggest just going to Shin-Yamaguchi so that you can just wake up and catch your bus to Akiyoshido/Akiyoshidai. To get more from your pass, you might want to consider staying again in Yamaguchi and going up to Hagi on day 12 instead of going back to Hiroshima. Hagi is a really nice town with a few different historic districts and famous pottery: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6150.htmlTsuwano is another good alternative. It has scenic castle ruins, its own nice castle town, and interesting Christian sites: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5875.htmlIf you really want to have that extra day in Hiroshima, then I would group your Hiroshima days together and move west afterward: 10 Hiroshima -day trip to Miyajima 11 Hiroshima area (stay in Yamaguchi) 12 Akiyoshido Cave and Akiyoshidai Plateau (stay in Fukuoka for remainder of trip)

I visited some of the places on your list recently. I would just advise that you should try to be flexible with your schedule, as sometimes weather may things difficult. For example, I went to Tottori and it was pouring rain and made it difficult to appreciate and enjoy the sand dunes. In terms of Fukuoka, I'm not sure their passes are that attractive. For example, there are these ones: https://yokanavi.com/en/tourist-city-pass/http://www.nishitetsu.jp/en/ticket/If you are just going to be around the Hakata station, Tenjin areas, then there are actually 100 yen buses which are more economical.
