Tokyo New Year 2017/12/1 21:58
Hi again dear everyone!
I'm going to japan the 28th of december, so i will be in tokyo during the new year.
I don't find good info about it, like where to be to see fireworks, best place to be to celebrate as a stranger! if you have any info of recommandation.
I just heard the fireworks will be near Tokyo bay but it's still very big to know where to be hehe...
thanks!

Fireworks are not a Japanese New Year tradition. The only place I can find having a firework in Greater Tokyo is an amusement park in southern Yokohama:

Hiya! thanks for the answer.
For the fireworks, that's something I heared, and yeah it seem false.
To be honest i was hoping for a less formal answer, more like some experiences of good places knot specially listed on the website top-5 places, but somewhere i can be as a rookie to enjoy a good time with my wife.
I think we will go around Shibuya it seem to be a good place for new year.
But thanks for all the closure dates, that will save us a lot of time i forgot to check that !
Have a nice day =)
And sorry if my english is not very good.
