Ise and Kinosaki 2017/12/3 02:44
Hi everyone!

I will be traveling to Japan this spring for 10 days and need some advice and recommendations.

We will be heading to Osaka, Yoshino, Ise and Kinosaki.

What JR Pass would be ideal to cover this area?

Any recommendations for hotels/ryokan in Ise/Kinosaki?

Is 2 days enough to see Ise jingu area and Ago pearl area and the Meitowa rocks? Is goodwill guide a good idea for this destination?

Is 2 days enough to see interest points of Kinosaki?

Thank you in advance!

I am not aware of any ONE pass that covers all 4 areas you mentioned.

Kintetsu Railway Co covers Osaka, Yoshino, and Ise. http://www.kintetsu.co.jp/foreign/english/

JR covers Osaka, Kinosaki, and partly Ise. http://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/ticket/pass/

My mother is a great fan of this Ryokan in Ise. When I went to Ise no rooms were available so I couldnft try it.

Yes, I think two days are enough. For Meitowa rocks, try to approach them from the West rather than East. It is the much nicer approach.

I donft know about goodwill guides.

Enjoy your trip to Japan!
