Inversed bus stop shelters 2018/1/14 21:08
Hi,
When in Japan I noticed, compared to several other countries that the bus stop shelters are "inverted", with the opening facing the streetwalk rather than the road.

Is there any particular reason for that?

Also, when the bus in Kyoto is waiting at the bus stop to depart, there is a tune played from the bus. Is there any reason for that?

A-2)
There is no bus stop in only other(right) side on a narrow road.

Although looks like "oneway road", rural country side and out of urban towns a lot.

A-3)
Offset(other side one placed far, hidden, or another route using)
or oneway bus stop(left side bus won't be stopping there).

A-4)
If you saw in a dark(night) or bad weather,
just you made a mistake with shelters of tram(street car), even single track or not.

2)
That melody means just sign of dep, (urban rail stations using usual, maybe already you know)
(many companies bus drivers annouce every stops by mic or annnoucement machine using usual)
bc falling down accidents of children and olders occur many times at dep and curve section usual.

This is automatic announcement machine voices collection.
