Amanohashidate and Kyoto Tango Railway 2018/2/4 00:22
Hi everyone

I'm planning a day-trip to Amanihashidate from Kyoto.
Aside from Amanohashidate, I also want to take the Kyoto Tango Railway across Yuragawa River.
However I am confused on how I can achieve this.

From what I managed to search from the internet, I am looking at this route:
Kyoto to Amanoshidate by R Hashidate limited express trains.
Once I am done with Amanohashidate (Amanohashidate View Land & Kasamatsu Park), I will then take Kyoto Tango Railway from Amanohashidate to Nishi-Maizuru.

Question:
1. Will I cross Yuragawa River if I take Kyoto Tango Railway from Amanohashidate to Nishi-Maizuru?
2. Is there a round trip ticket from Amanohashidate to Nishi-Maizuru?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you will cross Yura River.

The trip you mention is 640 yen one way.

I cannot see any ticket option that will suit your needs. You can view the website and use the translate option on your web browser to view them.
