Hi, I have bought infant and kids toothpaste from Japan earlier but after back home I couldn't find expiry date on the products. May someone here teach me how to read expiry date on the products? Thanks in advance! Heloise

Expiration date, if there is one, may be expressed in Heisei year. 2018 is equal to Heisei year 30, expressed as H30. Month and date are the same as the Gregorian calendar.

Expiry dates aren't commonly indicated on toothpastes. But the manufacturer usually shows a guideline on their website. What brand is it? For example, the company Lion says that their product can be safely used for 3 years after production if not opened. They also encourage you to consume it as soon as possible after opening. The production date is indicated on the tube. But again, this is just for Lion products. http://www.lion.co.jp/ja/support/faq/product/215By the way, expiry dates are hardly indicated by Heisei indication.
