Hi guys,
Second trip to Japan and really excited and happy again. First trip was a learning curve and realised i need to budget correctly for this one. I am coming from New Zealand and will be landing at the Narita Airport. Last trip i used my JR Pass and boarded the NaritaExpress train to Shinjuku.
This time I want to activate my pass a few days later and was thinking is there any cheap way to go from Narita airport to Shinjuku without paying a hefty price ?
Thanks, Ravi

https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2027.html?aFROM=2027_3011"The cheapest way to travel between Narita Airport and Shinjuku is by Keisei Limited Express. Take the Keisei Limited Express from the airport to Nippori Station (75 minutes, 1030 yen) and transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku (20 minutes, 200 yen). There are three connections per hour. "

I think they are the cheapest way to Shinjuku. Option 1. Take Tokyo Shuttle Bus Between Narita Airport and Tokyo station. 1,000yen for one way. http://www.keiseibus.co.jp/inbound/tokyoshuttle/en/From Tokyo station to Shinjuku, take JR Chuo line. Total about 1h30m, 1200yen. Option 2 Take Keisei Limited Express (not Skyliner) to Nishi-nippori. Take JR Yamanote line to shinjuku Total about 1h45m, 1230yen You may know but I recommend you to buy Suica card. You will save a couple of yen every time you use and save a lot of time. (Tokyo-Shinjuku: 194yen with Suica, 200yen with ticket) You need 500yen deposit when you purchase but when you leave Japan you can return the card and get refund.
