Day trip Toyama region end of March

We'll be in Toyama last week of March for 2N/3D. With the alpine-route, kurobe-gorge-rail etc. closed, what are our best alternate options (day-trip) if we want to experience the Alps (Kurobe/Unazuki/Tateyama). We'll be spending nights in Toyama city. Many thanks !

I don't see the point in going to Toyama if both those sightseeing locations are closed.

If the weather is fine and you can see Tateyama from Toyama then you might better go there. In March there should be much snow in Tateyama, but the possibility you can see Tateyama would be rather low.
