I could name many airlines that allow check-in one hour or even less before departure. You guys are stuck in the 20th century...

@Firas Yes but at the risk of there being some sort of incident* & you missing your flight home why take the chance.
*Not that I've ever been involved in some sort of incident :)

First train to arrive at Narita is at 6:30am. It is not a Narita Express.
Use a timetable search website like hyperdia, eki-net or jourden to search for the timetables.

You could also take limousine bus 540am from Shinjuku Bus Terminal and be at Narita Airport by 705am http://www.limousinebus.co.jp/en/platform_searches/index/1/279As long as you can check in online 24 hours before departure, then it should be a bit faster to drop off bags, get boarding pass and security. Otherwise I would take the local trains to Narita. As early as leaving Tokyo 500am and getting by 630am. Taking the first Narita Express Train is pretty tight for me. Hope this helps!

@Frias, yes, some airlines do allow that, but the OP doesn't say which airline and some still do have a two-hour check-in requirement. Not all, some. As usual your comment does not add to the discussion.
