Highway bus reservations Fuji to Shinjuku

Hello, we're traveling to Japan soon and are planning a two-day trip to Hakone & Mount Fuji. We want to use the Fuji Hakone pass for this. This means that we have to take the train to Hakone and return to Shinjuku by highway bus. Fuji Hakone pass: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_014.htmlAccording to this website, we have to make free reservations for the bus. However, when I try to do so, the website asks me for a credit card payment. Does anyone know how to do this? Has this recently changed perhaps? Thanks!

Have you purchased the pass already?
Another thing to note - if you want to visit both Hakone AND Kawaguchiko area, I would recommend 2-night, 3-day stay total.

No, we haven't bought it yet. We will buy it when we are in Japan.
And I know but our hotels have already been booked.
