Good day to everyone!
I and my husband are traveling to Hokkaido for the period May01 until May06 this 2018. We have devised a rough itinerary and we would like to invite everyone with insights to please advise us on how to best enjoy what the Hokkaido region has to offer within May 01-06, 2018. We love hiking/walking through places with natural scenic views- mountains, lakes, streets lined with local fauna, rolling hills and farms of flowers, and the like. We specifically chose the Hokkaido region as we want to bask in the beauty of its nature. We plan to use local trains and buses throughout our stay- no driving.
Please feel free to comment on the following points: 1. Is the travel itinerary per day do-able by local bus/trains? 2. Is the travel itinerary too rushed on some parts? 3. Are any of our destinations not in "optimal time" for visiting? 4. Is it worth visiting Biei,Furano, Yubetsu (Tulips), Takinoue Park, Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park within the period May01-06? 5. Any suggestions for alternative places to visit or best mode of transportation to take are most welcome.
Day01. Arrival in Sapporo via New Chitose airport Overnight in Sapporo.
Day02. Sapporo-Asahidake onsen. Overnight in Asahidake Onsen
Day03.Asahidake Onsen-Beie Overnight in Beie
Day04. Biei-Furano Overnight in Furano
Day05. Furano-Sapporo. Overnight in Sapporo

Thank you in advance to your valuable response/s.
