Tsukiji Market - Outer Market

Hi. Our family will be visiting Japan and we would like to try the Tsukiji Market. I read that it is closed during Sundays and holidays. I believe that April 29 is a holiday in Japan. I would like to ask if the outer market of Tsukiji Market will also be closed on April 29? Thank you

Both the inner and outer markets will be basically closed on April 29, 2018 (a Sunday and National holiday) and on April 30 (a substitute holiday).
The both will be open on Saturday, April 28, which will be around the beginning of "Golden Week" high tourist season.
