Say you were at 65 points on the HSP chart, and you just needed a little more work experience to get to that 70 point mark; can you complete that work while in Japan, or does it have to be completed before you move to Japan / on a work visa?
Also, can you take the JLPT for a higher score to help get an HSP after working in Japan for a year or 2, or is that a one time test?

You can move to Japan now on a regular work visa, then apply for a change to HSFP once you're able to meet the 70 point mark.
