Talking Japanese in Tokyo 2018/5/20 21:22
Again a funny question of me... I will be 6 days in Tokyo first week of June, and I would like to spend as much time as possible talking Japanese (as I try to learn it now for some time, as a hobby). Do you have a suggestion where and how I could meet Japanese people willing to talk Japanese to a Dutch woman, who will be asking ' yukkuri hanashite kudasai' and 'mou ichidou kudasai' all the time? Maybe nice bar/cafe or something like that, with foreigner-interested-customers?

I am a Japanese and think there are many Japanese (including me :) willing to talk with foreigners. There are many volunteer guide groups for foreign tourists. Of course some are based in Tokyo. In general the volunteer guides are retired person and students who want to communicate with foreigners.

Basically these guides are not for foreign tourists who want to talk Japanese, but of course most of them are Japanese so they will happily talk with you in Japanese. You can walk some interesting sites in Tokyo with her/him and talk with her/him.

Find one which seems to be nice and communicate with the manager via e-mail. He/She will coordinate the best match for you.

Very good suggestion, great!
Looked into it, bit difficult because of the Japanese writing, and found links to several companies, which I looked into. Wrote down all the possible tours in my week.
I was only wondering: you wrote: "email the manager", of which company did you mean?
Did you mean from 'tourguide' https://tourguide.jp/tourist/contact?
Thanks again!

I am sorry for unclear notice. I just wanted to say you should visit the websites of 10 "free guide" agencies, select one and then contact with them. I would personally select Tokyo Free Guide

http://www.tokyofreeguide.org/en/tour-guide-service/

since this seems to be very flexible so you can tell them your request precisely. I hope someone might have more information in detail.
