Is JR Pass needed for this itinerary?

I would like to go to Toyama from Tokyo by Willer Express night bus. And stay in Toyama, going to visit Alpine Route, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nagano for about 5 days all together. And come back to Tokyo from Toyama by Willer Express night bus again.
In this case, do I still need JR Pass?
Please advise.
