Fukuoka to Kurokawa Onsen (Day Trip)

I'm thinking of going to Kurokawa Onsen on a day trip from Fukuoka. I'll have the JR pass so I can catch that to Hita but I'm trying to find the timetable for the buses that go from Hita to Kurokawa Onsen and back.
Does anyone know where I need to look for that?

I dont know whether I would recommend Kurokawa Onsen as a day trip. It is a pretty enough (very small) town but there is very little to do other than going to the baths and it does take a long time to get there. I would go to Yufuin over Kurokawa Onsen if it was a day trip. I agree though that it is nice overnight, and there is a great bar/restaurant for lunch if you decide to go.
