No, it is not fixed. The line from Hida-Furukawa to Nagoya is up and running. From the Official Hida Takayama FB page via JR Central: JR Central has announced that they plan to reopen the closed railroad tracks from Hida-Kanayama Station to Gero Station (which were damaged by landslides caused by the heavy rainfall in early July) on Saturday, August 11. Along with the reopening of these tracks, Limited Express Wide View Hida services from Nagoya Station to Hida-Furukawa Station (via Gero and Takayama Station) will also be reintroduced; you can now purchase tickets for reserved and non-reserved seats. With trains resuming their normal services starting on August 11, the last day of the temporary shuttle buses from Hida-Kanayama Station to Gero Station will be on Friday, August 10. yNotesz Train lines from Sakakami Station to Inotani Station will remain closed (repairs are expected to take a few months) with temporary shuttle buses running in place of the trains Limited Exp. Wide View Hida services from Hida-Furukawa Station to Toyama Station will remain suspended If you want the info in Japanese: http://jr-central.co.jp/news/release/_pdf/000037906.pdf
