Would this work as a kokuhaku? I have met the person a few times and we send messages to each other a lot I want to try tell them in Japanese but I want to be sure it will sound good 😊

I would change the first sentence to either:
(a) 伝えたいことがあります。or
(b) お話ししたいことがあります。
言いたいこと sounds like you are about to express an opposing comment.
