Hello,
i'm staying in japan for 18 days soon, and will have a 14 days rail pass. So i have to skip the route mentioned above OR the last days in tokyo + narita airport without the railpass.
Which option will be cheaper?
To Kurokawa the best way with rp is the train to Hita + bus, and from Aso back to Fukuoka and further with the bus to Kumamoto+shinkansen, right? As the railway from Aso to Kumamoto isn't working, is there a discount on the sanko bus?

From Hakata (Fukuoka) Bus Terminal, you can take a highway bus to Kurokawaonsen. 156 min ride, 3090 yen.
From Kurokawaonsen, you can take another bus to Aso Station. 48 min ride, 1200 yen.
