Hokkaido Tour January

Hi guys!

I wanted to ask someone of you with experience in travelling Hokkaido/Tokyo in January. I planned the following intinerary:

4.5 days in Sapporo with a day trip to Otaru included
3.5 days in Hakodate
5 days in Tokyo with a day trip to Nikko included

Is there maybe another City that I need to see between Sapporo and Hakodate?

Depends on your interests. If you like onsen, volcanoes, scenic beauty or wintersports, then Toyako, Noboribetsu, Shikotsuko and Niseko come to mind:

If you are interested in winter festival, ice festival is held in Lake Shikotsu. It is held 25th Jan– 17th Feb 2019.
You can take a public bus from Sapporo.

I would check out Noboribetsu on the way to Hakodate.
