Planning for day trip from Toyama

I have spent a lot of time navigating schedules and bus lines and I am still confused.
We will be in Toyama mid-April 2019 and would like to spend one weekday going from Toyama to Gokayama and Shirakawago. Which bus line is the best one (probably from Takaoka where we could get w. the JR Pass) and how should be this trip scheduled such that we have enough time for Suganuma, Ainokura & Ogimachi and we can return by 7-8 pm to Takaoka. I also do not understand how one gets from Suganuma to Ainokura.
I'd very much appreciate some help.
