Cancellation Spouse visa application

Hi everyone
I have an engineer visa in Japan. I already applied spouse visa for my wife to Janpanese embassy on Aug, until now i havenft got the result. But my wife has an affair at hometown, i want to divorce and cancel the spouse visa application. Could i ask this requirement at the embassy? Pls advise soon. Thank you!

Don't worry.perhaps its a fake news,that your wife does adultery with someone unless you see by yourself.don't cancell visa for your love one
