Kurobe Gorge Railway early May worth it?

Dear folks,
We will be in the Tateyama area around late Apr to early May. Questions:
1. Is it worth going to the Kurobe Gorge Railway train ride and also visiting Unazuki and other onsens around Keyakidara Station?
2. Or is it better to visit Shin Hotaka Onsen in Okuhida?
3. Is Kamikochi worth visiting in mid May?
