Japan Rail Pass Required?

Hi all, thanks in advance for helping out. This is my second trip to Japan.
I am following a different itinerary this time so not sure if JR pass is required, so hoping you can help.
My trip will be Tokyo -> Kyoto -> Osaka, and I'll list places that will require travelling.
26/11 - I fly into Tokyo, will visit Mt. Fuji and Yokohama / Disneyland
3/12 - I will be in Kyoto, will visit Nagoya
5/12 - I will be in Osaka, will visit Kobe and Universal Studios
I fly out of Osaka on 9/12.
Based on the above do you think it's more economical / efficient to just buy single tickets and get a Suica card or get a 7 Day JR Pass?
Thanks again for taking the time to read / assist.
Cheers, Japshen

A pass is never "required". The question is if it would save money for you. In your case, with a one way itinerary, you'd be far from making it pay off without extensive side trips or day trips. So in your case, just get regular tickets. But a regional pass for the Fuji area (you didn't specify Hakone or the Fuji 5 Lakes) could be a good money saver.

Thanks for the replies! Makes sense, I'll just pick up the single tickets then.
I haven't visited either - what would you recommend for this time of year? Hakone or the 5 lakes?
