What type of pass to get? 2018/12/7 21:30
Hi, I don't know what pass to buy and need some advice.

Osaka- Kanazawa- Nagoya- Takayama- Shirakawago- Magome-Tsumago - Nagoya. Thank you in advance.

You did not state how many days you want to travel all that.
The closest would be the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass.

But it does not cover the Kiso Valley. There really isn't anything you can use that covers all the places in a cost-effective manner.

A 28 day Green Pass will suit you perfectly.

Alternatively, spend 5 minutes on one of the many sites that will help you calculate the cost of your journeys (hint - therefs links on the main Japan- Guide website in the train travel section), and your question will be answered.

You have some odd backtracking so your route wastes time. And for a better route, I wouldn't bother with a pass due to the areas and access methods to get around (because of the buses involved).
