Kusatsu Onsen JR bus connection 2019/4/27 13:45
Hi,

I'm planning a day trip from Tokyo to Kusatsu Onsen. Is JR bus connection at Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to Kusatsu Onsen covered by JR Pass?

Which onsen bath would you recommend?

Yes, the bus between Naganoharakusatsuguchi and Kusatsu Onsen is covered by the Japan Rail Pass (but it is not covered by other JR passes, such as the Tokyo Wide Pass).

Which onsen bath would you recommend?

For good bathing, I recommend the Otakinoyu. For an openair experience, I recommend the Sainokawara Rotemburo:

I'm looking at the bus from Naganoharakusatsuguchi to Kasatsu onsen on this website http://www.jrbuskanto.co.jp.e.wn.hp.transer.com/bus_etc/cntimep01.cfm?...

I don't quite understand what it means by "flat/sat" and "holiday" and "."
Can you please explain which days do these buses run on? I was hoping to go for a day trip from Tokyo on Thursday 14 November 2019 and I have a JR pass..so I'm trying to figure out the bus times so I can check which trains to take.

Thank you
