Is it possible to become one of the Japanese? 2019/5/7 01:40
Hello.
I recently became interested in Japan. This is a developed country among the eastern countries. In addition, Japan is called the old rising sun. I like it.
But I have information that if I move to Japan, I will always be a stranger to the Japanese.
Here is my question:
Is it possible to become a non-stranger for the Japanese?
Thanks in advance!

If you look "Gaijin", unfortunately, you would remain "Gaijin".
You could become "Japanese", in the future? On paper only.

Actually, Japan also has its fair share of locals who are treated as strangers, even if the person was born Japanese, look Japanese and has grown up in the Japanese society. They call them "uchuu-jin" which means a person from outer space. But a lot of people don't mind.
