Regarding coe extension

Hello,
I have coe with issue date as 19/July/2019
I have joining on 22/Nov/2019
I can leave India only after 3/Nov/2019 from my current company
The coe expires on 19/October/2019

Can I send back coe to Japan and request to cancel and reapply with new date.
Or can I extend it.
Or doing this would put me in some problems.

Please help me with details as early as possible.

CoE is officially a none administrative appeal which means you cannot change.
You need to cancel and re-apply again.

Best is to contact immigration or the company for support and advise

Contact your new employer as soon as possible.

With the current CoE, you need to “enter” Japan between July 19 and October 19. The new employer probably didn’t think hard about putting the beginning date correctly, thinking the CoE process would take far longer…

You can re-apply after canceling the current CoE, but you will start from the beginning and it can take another 3 (or longer) months. If you do not mind you can start over.

That the way to go about it. Return and request your new company to re-apply.

Make sure you remind/let them know about the COE expiration date and your Japan entry/joining date.

Also, check on your side how long does the embassy take to issue visa after you make application.
