Hello everyone
I have a question please
- My residence in japan will end on 25 September 2019 , so within few days I believe
I will apply for renew my residence ( work visa ) for 3 years starting from 10th Sep 2019
I know it take like one month at least till get approval
My questions is ,, after I apply for residence renewal on 10th sep , If I did not got notification from Immigration office before 25 th sep
Will be legal for me to stay ?
Or I should leave japan before 25th if I did not got notification from the Immigration office
Please advise me on this issue

If your application for renewal is accepted (there will be a stamp 'APPLICATION' on your passport) by immigration, you are given extended period of stay of 60days(or untill your applicatoin result is decided) from your zairyu card expiry date.
So in your case, you can stay in Japan and continue whatever related work after Sep 25th, plus 60 days or untill your application result is decided. Also note that you re not guarantee for 3 years period, decision to be made by immigration based on your renewal application. You can request for 3 years but not guarantee you'll continue get 3 years.

Not 60 days, 2 months, so until 25 November.
