Change of Visa Status - Postcard not received

Hello,
Greetings!
I am currently working under "Intra Company Transferee" visa and the same expires on 23rd Jan, 2023. I had applied for change of status of residence to "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/ International Services" on 26th Sep, 2019. However, I have not received notification postcard from immigration yet.
My new job will be starting from 11th Nov, 2019 and I'm afraid if my application will be still in progress. Since, "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/ International Services" falls under the category of "Intra Company Transferee", can I start working for the new company and in the meanwhile I can track the progress of the application and get my visa?
I would really appreciate if someone could help.

Since, "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/ International Services" falls under the category of "Intra Company Transferee"
