Translating Japanese docs? (US Immigration) 2019/12/10 10:10
I`m American and my husband is Japanese.

We got married in Japan and have been living here together.

We are now looking to move to the US and have started to fill out the immigration application forms. All of our proof of marriage is in Japanese, so it has to be translated before we send it to USCIS.

What is the best way to go about getting English translations for all of our Japanese documents?

For those of you who have gone through this process, did you use a translation service?
If so, who did you use and how much did it cost?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

One thing you should clarify is whether those translation need to be notarize/authenticated or not?
Check with US immigration or US embassy for recommendation.
