Overnight transit at Narita airport on June

Hi,

I have a question regarding on my overnight transit at Narita airport from New York to Malaysia. My flight to Malaysia has been reschedule and have a 18 hours layover at Narita airport. It's stated that from June 10th, 2022, Japan is reopen for tourist with tour package, how about those transit tourist? Is the overnight transit is allowed after June 10th, 2022?

I guess you�fd need to check with the airline whether you can �genter�h Japan or you need to stay on the airside the whole time.

You cannot enter Japan, and you cannot over-night at Narita. This has been done lots of time. You will be denied boarding and waste your ticket. Rebook a different flight.

Do you remember which date in June that Japan airports not allow over night transit? Please share link if possible.
