Traveling abroad during PR procedures 2022/5/29 12:46
Hello,

I would like to apply for PR in June and since they ask for passport and residence card with other documents, I was wondering if they keep them until the end of procedure or I can have them back after showing them to the officers?

I need to go abroad for 2 weeks in the end of July due to some family matters but I still prefer to start the procedure in June anyway. So I was wondering if they keep passport and residence card or not.

I truly appreciate your answers,
Thank you in advance.

No. They just need copies.

They will not keep your passport and residence card, they will; return you back after application submission.
