Overnight layover Narita, restrictions?

I have an overnight layover, as I can see online I cannot stay in the airport overnight. What are my options? Can I get a transit visa ? Thanks!

Change your flight. Transit visas are not being issued, and the ability to get into the country currently is very limited/difficult.

I have flight this coming 1rst week of october and I have layover 17hrs. in Narita, do I need a visa because i heard that layover more than 12 hrs. In narita airport they a need a visa, so I need help if this is true.
