i have 30 hours in tokyo come october, get into narita at 4p on saturday - leave sunday 10p can anyone help with the train routing from narita to tokyo for hotel for the night then we would like to go to mt fuji for the day and then back to the airport if this is possible? ive seen a few you tube videos and i like the ideal of going to kawaguchiko riding the cable car, def need to see chureito pagoda, then take the shinkansen back to narita it would be a non stop day, dont know if can be done there are two of us so im thinking would be best to buy a pass rather than a couple one way tickets? thanks in advance

Assuming you have a visa to get into the country, note the shinkansen does not go to Narita, nor to Kawaguchiko. The express services are quite good, but they do take a while and the distances are non-trivial. You could simply get the Narita Express to Shinjuku, as you can get from there quite easily to the Hakone area, or out to Kawaguchiko (either the Fuji Excursion if times suit, or the limited express trains to Otsuki before transfering to Fujikyu Railways - takes a couple of hours). Of course, you Sunday would be limited as the time to gat back to Narita also takes a while (more than three hours).
