ERFS between now and 11OCT when Japan reopens

We are scheduled to travel to Japan on 06OCT arriving in Tokyo on 07OCT and of course the new rules for US travelers goes into effect on 11OCT.
We could not change our flight dates due to the very large airfares that the airlines are now charging since the announcement.

Is there anyway to arrange for an ERFS to cover our stay from 07OCT thru 10OCT? We are so upset as we have planned this trip 3 times since Covid
and would love to have to wait for another year.

Any assistance or suggestion would be greatly helpful.

Just travel as your current plan. No need to change it.

Dear Sally,

some travel agencys like HOLIGOES might help you to get the ERFS Certificate.
Please keep in mind that you also need a Visa before 11. October. The time since your Trip to Japan might be very tight.

Thank you for your advise. I contacted many Japanese Travel Agency and one quite quickly offered
to help without us having to buy a complete tour and if all goes well we will get our Visa and travel
as planned.
