3 day itinerary suggestions

Hi there Guys,
I have decided to finally venture up north of Japan but was caught off guard with the recent re-opening. Most of my itinerary is complete with the exception of 3 nights and 4 days between Sendai and Sapporo.
I have looked at loads of youtube videos, forums and other but was hoping travellers familiar with north honshuu could give their fav places in between in case i've missed options. My interests are broad. Anything really; big cities, shopping, bush walks, temples, quaint towns etc
Presently, I was going to do 1 night in Hachinohe and 2 nights in Aomori, but very open to change.
Thank you :)

I've spent a fair amount of time in Tohoku, but only in the spring and summer, not heading into winter. I imagine it'll be getting quite cold in a few weeks' time! There are a couple of interesting things to do around Hachinohe. Kushihiki-Hachiman-gu Shrine has a famous collection of samurai armour, and you can also go to Ne castle, if you have an interest in archaeological sites. I believe that some of the amazing floats from the summer festival can be seen at locations around the city, although maybe not at this time of year. The staff at the Tourist Information Centre in Hachinohe Station are really kind and they'll help you with suggestions and ways to get around. I don't know that I'd stay a night there though. Kushihiki-Hachiman-gu: https://visithachinohe.com/en/places/kushihiki-hachimangu/Ne Castle: https://jcastle.info/view/Ne_CastleHachinohe Festival floats: https://visithachinohe.com/en/stories/hachinohe-sannshataisai/There's lots more to do in Aomori, so I would probably just stay there after visiting Hachinohe. You won't be there for the summer festival, but you can see some of the floats at the excellent Nebuta Warasse exhibition hall next to the station. Aomori also has some excellent galleries / museums and a very interesting archaeological site (the Sannai Maruyama Archaeological Site). There are of course many day trips that you can take from there too. If you have time, you could spend a day in Hirosaki and see the small (but excellent) castle there as well as the festival museum. Aomori: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3750.htmlHirosaki: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3701.htmlYou could also break up the trip between Aomori and Sapporo with a day/night in Hakodate. Lots of options! :)
