unseen hokkaido

Hello

If I go to Hokkaido in the last week of Jan or early of Feb, (about 5 days). Is it a problem to go to cape kamui such as road colse by snow?

At that time, I need to go somewhere is unseen in Hokkaido.Who can suggest me?
I like natural and geo park.

If you decide to visit Shireto Peninsula in winter, try & organise a qualified guide to take you out exploring as it’s not safe to go on your own - bears, unfamiliar ice conditions.

Hokkaido will be under thick snow during that period. So I would suggest only activities that are enjoyable in such conditions. Eg the floating ice in Abashiri, skiing, snow festivals, penguin walk…

there are arrows high up by the road to point out to the plowers where the road actually is-even trains sometimes can not run so natural areas are located right outside any place you go in Hokkaido. even if you stay just in Sapporo and take the train to Otaru and try to walk around , you will achieve natural experience
