Hello,
I am looking for some Jazz club/venue recommendations for the following locations.
I am also open to any suggestions for music stores with CDs, cassettes or other music formats that are non-vinyl, as it will be hard for me to take vinyl safely home; the stores do not have to have Jazz specifically, but nice to have.
* Hakodate
* Niseko
* Kanazawa
* Nagoya
* Hiroshima
* Matsuyama
* Takamatsu
These are I feel perhaps some areas that may not have a big presence of jazz?, thus if someone has a good recommendation it is appreciated.
I am a huge fan of Jazz and related genres, and especially Japanese jazz artists and musicians. Fusion Jazz is my favorite, especially from Japanese artists.
I am most eager about trying to see these artists:
* Terumasa Hino
* Masayoshi Takanaka
* Toshiki Kadomatsu
* Hiroshi Sato (RIP), I would like to see his music live if there is a cover band or new project/past group members playing. But it's his voice too that will be missed.
* Masataka Matsutoya / Caramel Mama aka Tin Pan Alley
* Shigeru Suzuki
* Haruomi Hosono
* Takahiko Ishikawa

A few are on tour right now!! in Japan (Hino, Takanaka for example) but sadly nothing listed in 2023 yet. I am wondering if Japanese music artists take a break in the early months of 2023?
