Hi everyone,
Hope all have a great Christmas.
I'm going to Japan during the Chinese New Year period on 21st Jan. Will land on 22nd Jan. Booked a hotel from 21st to 25th (depart 25th Haneda International Airport). I wanted to go to Shiragawa-go, Takayama & also the aquarium at Port of Nagoya.
Wanted to join the tour group which will meet at Nagoya (VIP lounge) at 8am, but it is too early.
Is it better to book a hotel at Nagoya?
Any advice?

I'm afraid your question is very confusing.
You are arriving to Japan on Jan 22, but you have a hotel booked from Jan 21?
And where is this "Nagoya (VIP lounge)"? An airport? If so, which one?
"Too early" for what?
The first Shinkansen from Tokyo area to Nagoya arrives at Nagoya around 7:30am, if that helps.
