Trouble booking mult-city flights

I am getting caught in a loop trying to book multi-city flights when on the Japan Air Pass site.
I haven't picked the pass yet, just tried to book the flights to see availability...
Oksaka>Yakushima>Fukukoka>Okinawa>Tokyo.
Keep getting an error message about no flights available for part of the booking however the website is not saying "which" flight of the options is not available. I went and tried booking them individually, they all worked for the same dates as when I tried to book as multi-city but cannot do the multi-city. Any tips or suggestions welcomed!
