Private onsen/hot springs for Hokkaido

Hi all,
We are a family of four from Singapore and are in the midst of planning a trip to Hokkaido, we would like to seek for any advice / guidance for any private onsen / hotspring for a minimal period of time (1-2 hours preferably). We have planned our itinerary to visit lake toya and noboribetsu around 27-28 Feb 2023.
We have checked online on private hotspring / onsen but most of them require you to book a ryokan.
Can anyone assist us in visitation of a private family hotspring / onsen?
Can anyone enlighten us how does the day trip pass works? Do we just go ahead to the place and make payment?
