Kanazawa to Lake Kawaguchiko

Hello,

We have 17 days in Japan February. Will be getting Takayama-Hokuriku Area 5 days Pass. Our trip start from Nagoya, ending in Tokyo. First time visiting Nagoya, Takayama, Hirayu onsen, Shirakawa-go, Shinhotaka Ropeway and Kanazawa. Our original plan was at the 6th day, fly from Komatsu to Okinawa for 6 days. Plan changed not going to Okinawa. What is best way to travel from Kanazawa to Lake Kawaguchiko, we have been in Tokyo 3 times but never visited Kawaguchiko. We will staying in Kawaguchiko for 2 nights.
Here are the options I found:
1. fly from Komatsu to Tokyo Hendra airport, take Fujikyu Bus / Keikyu Bus
2. Nohi bus from Takayama to Kawaguchiko
Option # 2 is the easier way but we have to travel from Nagoya to Kanazawa first, stay 2 nights and train to Takayama for 4 days.
Is there another way or suggestions would be appreciated.

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Kanazawa Station to Nagano Station.
Take the JR Shinetsu Main Line from Nagano Station to Matsumoto Station.
If possible, I recommend spending one night in Matsumoto or Nagano.
Take the JR Chuo Main Line from Matsumoto Station to Isawa Onsen Station.
Take the Fujikyu Bus from Isawa Onsen Station to Kawaguchiko Station.
It depends on the day and time, but according to the route search on Google Maps, it takes 5 hours and 8 minutes and costs 15,880 yen.

Another Alternative is
From matsumoto station to otsuki station
Then Fujikyu railway to kawaguchiko station
