driving from niseko to noboribetsu

hi, i realise that public transport from niseko to noboribetsu takes a long time, so the best way is maybe to drive. i have heard that the route is scenic as it will go past lake toya.

May i know if winter driving from Niseko to Noboribetsu is dangerous? and also, can i rent a car from niseko and return it in sapporo?

During the winter it is no problem, but in winter when there is snow you should avoid it unless you know how to drive in winter conditions:

thanks uji! apart from driving, from niseko to noboribetsu, are there any other ways to make the trip?

I am sure you noticed, but of course, my initial post should have stated: "During the SUMMER it is no problem, but in winter when there is snow you should avoid it..."

Unfortunately there is no efficient public transportation between Niseko and Noboribetsu. The easiest would be to travel via Sapporo or New Chitose Airport.

Are you plannning to overnight in Noboribetsu? If you are, check if your hotel provides pick up from Sapporo.
