Hello, me and my family are planning a trip to Japan and I was researching some things about the JR Pass and if it's worth it. We're 3 people and I was wondering, does every individual have to purchase a pass? I was also confused by the JR Pass calculators I saw if they show the Shinkansen ticket prices for just one person or not.
