Multiple JR rail passes possible?

Hi everybody,

I have a small question, is it possible to purchase multiple JR rail passes, like 2x21 days consequently for longer travel or is there some limit to it?

There is not limit. I once used three 3-week passes on a single stay.

No limit, but you need to use within three months of purchase, and you shouldn't have passes with over-lapping dates (not sure why they have to spell that one out, possibly to stop people buying multiples and then using them for non-eligible people.)

Did you do the maths to see if it pays off vs more regional passes / single tickets?
