Summer temperature in Japan cities 2023/2/14 07:10
I plan to travel to Japan the last week of August and the first of September and I've heard that it is very hot and humid. I'll stay one week in Tokyo and the other in Osaka and Kyoto. Where should I go first and second to avoid a little the hot temperatures?

There is barely a difference in heat between the three cities. It is bad in all three cities. On paper, Tokyo is a couple of degrees cooler than Osaka and Kyoto on average.

Agree that there isnft a difference that is so huge that you can make a travel decision on. Obviously in any given week it might be warmer in one place than the other.

With a bit of luck by end August/early September the worst is over and the heat is starting to get bearable.

Just also depends how heat / humid resistant you are.
