Yoshino station to Oku Senbon area

Hi this is my 1st time going to Mount Yoshino. As I am am traveling with my parents, I prefer to walk from top of the mountain to Shimo Senbon, Can anyone advise me the latest best routeway in details? I am traveling on 3th April 2023. From Yoshino station where should I go if I will like to take bus to Oku Senbon area as my 1st stop? And also the bus time table. Thank you

2023 timetables are not available yet. But if you hit the peak of the season, then it will be very crowded and timetables won't be very meaningful. You will just have to line up and wait for the next bus you are able to get on.

Yes, it can get very crowded. And mostly locals. The crowds do thin out later in the day and the higher you go. I was dead tired by the end going up, and wanted to take the bus heading down back - but they all finished by then, and had to walk the whole way.
