Hi ,
I will stay in Tokyo 6-9 April 2023 so I plan to go one day trip to Ibaraki. I need a suggestion. Is it worth to go to Fukuroda falls and Hananuki Gorge in the early April?

What are you interested in? Hiking? Nature? Ancient shrines/temples? Museums? Flower parks?

Certainly they are worth it if you like the beauty of nature. Though at that time it won't be as nice as late spring or summer when things are a lot more green. Actually Hananuki Gorge is most popular for its autumn leaves. But if that's the only chance you have to go there, then go.
